The Bossi Core delivers the performance and ride quality expected from our top-tier wheelsets, paired with the durability and value that make it suitable for the demands of everyday riding. It’s a fast, efficient, and dependable wheelset built to perform across a wide range of terrain and conditions.

Available in 40mm and 50mm rim depths, the Core gives riders the choice between reduced weight or increased aerodynamic efficiency on fast, rolling terrain. Both profiles use a refined carbon layup paired with a 23mm internal width and a hooked rim design for excellent tyre support, broad compatibility, and a straightforward tubeless setup. The Core uses a 1:1 spoke pattern with Sapim CX-Ray spokes - the benchmark for performance in steel aero spokes. This lacing provides consistent lateral stiffness, predictable handling, stability under braking, and straightforward serviceability.

At the centre is the new Bossi Core hubset, fitted with TPI steel bearings chosen for their balance of smooth rolling, durability, and long-term reliability. Each wheelset is fully hand-built in-house, allowing us to control every detail of the build - spoke tension, true, and balance. A properly hand-built wheel resists fatigue, stays true for longer, and maintains its performance characteristics over many seasons of riding.

Aesthetically, the Core features a clean raw UD finish with laser-engraved logos that won’t scratch, peel, or fade. Purposeful, understated, and consistent with the design values across the Bossi lineup.

Our new raw, unpainted aesthetic that celebrates the true nature of unidirectional carbon fiber. Each rim reveals a unique finish formed during the molding process Showing off the craftsmanship, material integrity, and individuality that define every Bossi bike.

We've used laser engraving to apply a subtle, refined finish to our rim branding. The process is carefully controlled to etch only the surface weave, leaving the structural carbon layers untouched. The engraving ensures your graphics can't peel or scratch off over time.

The new forged 7075 hub body is light, stiff, and durable resulting in exceptional performance and stability. Bearing interfaces are precision machined to ensure perfect fit, improving performance and extending lifespan.

We use external nipples for easier maintenance and long-term serviceability. Alowing for for quick and precise truing without the need to remove tyres or rim tape, making it easier to keep your wheels running perfectly true. It’s a practical choice that prioritises performance and reliability.

We’ve specified a symmetrical 1:1 lacing pattern for optimised force distribution and consistent lateral stiffness. This balanced architecture provides predictable handling under load and superior long-term durability.
