Bossi’s lightweight titanium road platform, defined by speed, compliance and understated form
The Strada is Bossi’s lightweight titanium road platform for riders who want the sharpness and efficiency of a true road bike without the harshness that defines so much of the modern category. Built from double-butted titanium tubing with fillet-welded construction and a refined set of modern features, it delivers a ride that feels lively, composed and refined.
The Strada is built around double-butted titanium tubing to create a road frame that feels lively, efficient and responsive. It brings together low frame weight, long-term durability and the distinctive ride quality titanium is known for, without compromising the precision expected of a modern road bike.
Spirited geometry is paired with tuned flex and compliance to create a bike that feels agile under power and composed as road surfaces deteriorate. The result is a road platform that responds quickly, holds its line confidently and reduces the fatigue that builds over longer rides.
The Strada is defined by clean profiles, restrained forms and an understated visual language. The result is a frame that looks resolved rather than overstated, with a timeless quality that will stand the test of time.
Fully integrated cable routing, 3D-printed UDH dropouts, a T47 bottom bracket and clearance for tyres up to 35c give the Strada the compatibility and usability expected of a modern road platform. The result is a cleaner-looking bike, broader component flexibility and a frame built to stay relevant for years to come.
The Strada is designed around balanced road handling that feels direct, stable and responsive. Its geometry gives the bike a sharp, connected feel on the road while maintaining the confidence and composure needed for fast, spirited riding.
Vibration and road chatter drain energy over the course of a ride. The Strada is designed to manage that through tuned compliance and composure, helping the rider stay fresher, maintain momentum more naturally and perform more consistently across real-world roads.
The Strada was developed as a response to the misdirection modern road bikes had taken: progressively stiffer, more aero, more aggressive, and often harsher as a result.
For years, road bike performance was reduced to a narrow set of metrics. The assumption was simple: if a bike was more stiff and more aerodynamic, it was automatically faster. In practice, many riders found that these bikes could feel less forgiving, more taxing, more aggressive, and more fatiguing to ride over distance.
The Strada was designed around a broader definition of performance. A fast road bike should not fight the rider. It should support efficient power transfer, reduce vibration, preserve the rider, and leave more energy in the tank after hours on the road. Comfort is part of that equation, but the real objective is fatigue reduction: a bike that allows the rider to keep producing power because it is not constantly sapping them.
That philosophy shaped the construction. By using conventional round tube profiles, the Strada can use double-butted titanium tubing through the main triangle, reducing weight by removing material where it is not structurally required while retaining strength at the weld zones. The result is a lighter frame with controlled compliance built into the chassis, rather than pursuing stiffness and aero for marketing headlines.
The restrained form is part of the design brief. The Strada does not rely on oversized profiles or visual aggression to communicate performance. Its round tube construction allows the use of double-butted titanium, reducing weight and tuning compliance while preserving a clean, enduring silhouette.
The Strada exists for riders who want a road bike that feels fast because it works with them, not against them. The brief was to preserve the sharpness, position, and response of a proper performance road bike, while using titanium’s material qualities to reduce fatigue, improve ride quality, and keep the bike relevant beyond the current product cycle.

The Strada is a performance road bike built around weight reduction, controlled compliance, and efficient power transfer. Its design philosophy treats comfort as a performance variable, reducing vibration, preserving rider position, and helping the rider produce consistent power over longer distances.
The geometry places the rider in an efficient performance position without forcing excessive front-end drop or an overly stretched posture. The external headset cup adds 15mm to the effective stack, further reducing saddle to bar drop. The fit position balances aerodynamics, weight distribution, hip function, power transfer, and visibility, giving the rider a purposeful road position that remains sustainable beyond short, high-intensity efforts.
Steering is centred around a trail figure of approximately 57 mm, giving the Strada SS a precise and responsive front end. With moderate head tube angles and balanced front-centre, the bike is designed to hold a stable line at speed while still remaining agile through corners, descents, and changes in direction.
The Strada uses 415 mm chain stays, creating a compact rear end that feels direct under acceleration while supporting traction, stability, and modern road tyre clearance. A generous bottom bracket drop gives the bike a settled feel through fast corners and helps the rider feel positioned within the bike rather than perched above it.
Double-butted titanium tubing is central to the Strada’s ride quality. Wall thickness is increased at weld junctions where strength and stiffness are required, then reduced through selected mid-sections to lower weight and allow controlled compliance through the frame. This gives the Strada enough damping to reduce vibration and fatigue over distance, without dulling the bike’s response under power.
Core Builds are configured through the options in the product purchase panel at the top of this page. Each build includes a curated specification, with selected rider-specific choices such as cockpit sizing, gearing, wheelset, tyres, saddle, and other available options confirmed before checkout.
Each Bossi is built to order. Once your order is placed, we will review your selected specification, confirm component availability, and provide an estimated build date. Typical Core Build lead times are 2–4 weeks, depending on frame availability, component supply, and current workshop scheduling.
Core Builds are limited to the options shown on this page. If you have a specific specification, component request, or more involved build in mind, please contact us to discuss a Custom Project.
Bossi frames are offered in sizes 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60. The right size for you will depend on more than height alone, including your proportions, flexibility, riding style and fit preferences.
As a general guide:
50 suits smaller riders, typically around 160–168 cm
52 suits riders around 168–173 cm
54 suits riders around 173–178 cm
56 suits riders around 178–183 cm
58 suits riders around 183–188 cm
60 suits taller riders, typically around 188–196 cm
These height ranges are approximate only. Some riders may fall between sizes depending on leg length, torso length, arm length, mobility and desired riding position.
If you are between sizes, the best option will depend on how you want the bike to fit and feel. A smaller size may offer a slightly more compact and responsive fit, while a larger size may provide a little more reach and stack.
If you are unsure which size is right for you, we recommend getting in touch before ordering. We are happy to review your current bike fit, body dimensions and intended use to help guide you into the right size.
Use the size guide on this page as a starting point. The right size will also depend on your proportions, flexibility, riding style and fit preferences. If you are unsure, get in touch and we can help guide you based on your measurements and current bike.
