A faster way to ride further

Our lightweight titanium all-road bike for fast road riding, long distances, and mixed surfaces.

The Summit is Bossi’s titanium all-road bike for riders who want speed, stability, and long-distance comfort in a lightweight, road-focused platform.

Built around a more sustainable performance position, the Summit improves control, visibility, hip function, and power delivery over longer rides. It is fast on the road, composed over rough surfaces, and capable of light gravel when the route moves beyond sealed tarmac.

A refined road bike with greater range, the Summit is designed for the way many riders actually ride: long days, imperfect roads, changing surfaces, and a position that doesn't punish.

    KEY FEATURES

A slightly slacker head tube angle, longer wheelbase, and 425 mm chainstays increase stability on descents, rougher roads, and light gravel. The result is a road bike that feels planted and controlled at speed without losing the precision expected from a performance platform.

The Summit is designed around fast road and light all-road use, with most riders choosing 32–35 mm tyres (max 42c). The added clearance improves comfort, traction, and confidence on imperfect surfaces while preserving the speed and efficiency expected from a road bike.

Butted titanium tubing reduces unnecessary material through selected tube sections while retaining strength at the weld zones. This lowers frame weight and improves compliance, helping the bike manage vibration and fatigue over longer distances.

The Summit includes practical details for riders who want more range from a road bike. Mounting points and fender compatibility support commuting, light touring, wet-weather riding, and longer mixed-surface routes without shifting the bike away from its road-focused purpose.

T47 bottom bracket, UDH compatibility, flat mount disc brakes, thru-axles, and modern cockpit compatibility give the Summit a durable, serviceable foundation. These standards improve long-term ownership while supporting current road and all-road component systems.

The Summit uses a higher stack and slightly shorter reach to place the rider in a more sustainable road position. This opens the hip angle, reduces upper-body strain, improves visibility, and supports cleaner power delivery over longer rides.

    DESIGN BRIEF

Efficient. Composed. Stable. Refined. Comfortable. Capable. Enduring.

The Summit was developed around a belief that the concepts of ‘road performance’ should extend beyond the narrow requirements of the racing world.

For many riders, an aggressive fit does not create more speed. Excessive saddle-to-bar drop can close the hip angle, increase pressure through the upper body, restrict airways, and create strain through the neck, shoulders, and lower back. The result is often less usable power, and more fatigue over the course of the ride.

The Summit addresses that problem through a refined all-road geometry. A higher stack and slightly shorter reach place the rider in a more sustainable performance position, opening the hip angle, improving eye-line, reducing upper-body strain, and supporting cleaner power delivery through the crankset. The aim is not to make the bike relaxed; it is to help the rider produce power more effectively for longer.

The handling follows the same brief. A slightly slacker head tube angle, and longer wheelbase increase stability on descents, rougher roads, and light gravel. The bike feels planted and controlled at speed, while retaining the precision handling expected from a proper road platform.

The Summit’s tyre clearance and practical details extend the bike’s range without changing its identity. Most riders will build it around 32–35 mm tyres for fast road and light gravel use, with enough clearance and utility for occasional gravel, rough roads, commuting, and light touring. These features add freedom to the platform, but the core brief remains road performance.

The result is a lightweight titanium all-road bike for riders who want speed, stability, comfort, and practical capability in one refined road focused all-road package. It is designed for the way many riders actually ride: long days in the saddle, imperfect surfaces, occasional gravel, and the need for a position that helps rather than punishes.

    HOW IT RIDES

The Summit is built around a riding position that supports sustained output across long days in the saddle. The geometry places the rider in a slightly more upright position than a traditional performance road setup, which changes how effort is produced and maintained. With a more open hip angle, the rider is able to generate power without compressing the torso into a restrictive position, allowing breathing to remain steady and rhythmical under load.

This position also reduces cumulative strain through the upper body. Less pressure is carried through the hands, shoulders, and lower back, which means less need to constantly shift or relieve discomfort. Over time, this translates into a more stable effort profile, where energy is directed into forward motion rather than managing fatigue-related movement.

At speed, the Summit feels composed and grounded. A 62mm trail figure, combined with balanced weight distribution, makes the bike feel planted through fast corners and long descents. Steering input remains direct and predictable, the response is immediate and controlled without nervousness.

The titanium frame construction plays a defining role in overall ride quality. Custom-butted tubing is tuned to manage high-frequency road vibration while maintaining efficiency under sustained load. The frame absorbs sharp surface feedback without isolating the rider from the road, preserving clarity of feel while reducing physical fatigue over distance.

Clearance for up to 42mm tyres extends this composure across a wide range of road surfaces. At a typical 32mm road setup, the Summit retains a familiar road feel with added stability and comfort. As tyre volume increases, the bike smooths increasingly rough surfaces without changing its core character.

The result is a road bike designed for consistency. It holds its composure when the ride extends beyond ideal conditions, allowing the rider to maintain pace, position, and control with less physical cost over time.

Bossi frames are offered in sizes 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60. The right size for you will depend on more than height alone, including your proportions, flexibility, riding style and fit preferences.

    As a general guide:

50 suits smaller riders, typically around 160–168 cm

52 suits riders around 168–173 cm

54 suits riders around 173–178 cm

56 suits riders around 178–183 cm

58 suits riders around 183–188 cm

60 suits taller riders, typically around 188–196 cm

These height ranges are approximate only. Some riders may fall between sizes depending on leg length, torso length, arm length, mobility and desired riding position.

If you are between sizes, the best option will depend on how you want the bike to fit and feel. A smaller size may offer a slightly more compact and responsive fit, while a larger size may provide a little more reach and stack.

If you are unsure which size is right for you, we recommend getting in touch before ordering. We are happy to review your current bike fit, body dimensions and intended use to help guide you into the right size.
