Pulse is our first titanium crankset, and it works differently to almost anything else at the heart of a modern drivetrain. Each crank arm is fully 3D printed from 6AL/4V titanium as a single, seamless piece, with no welds and no bonded joints. This is how Pulse resolves the usual trade-off between stiffness, weight, and durability, and it does so with a purity of form that only printed titanium allows.
Printing the arms lets us place material precisely where the load travels and remove it everywhere it is not needed. The result is an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio and a direct, connected feel under power. A CNC-machined 6AL/4V spindle is permanently joined to the non-drive arm through an interlocking keyed interface, forming one solid structure that transfers every watt cleanly from pedal to chainring. Each crankset is finished by hand with a brushed surface and laser-etched logos
Pulse is compatible with all Bossi road and gravel models, and with any frame running an industry-standard bottom bracket compatible with 30mm spindles.
Most cranks are forged, machined, or bonded from several parts, and every joint between them is a compromise in stiffness, weight, or fatigue life. Pulse has none. Each arm is built by powder-bed fusion, melting 6AL/4V titanium powder layer by layer into a single continuous part with a hollow internal section, then finished by hand. Printing the arm allows full topology optimisation: material is concentrated along the primary load paths and removed wherever stress is low. The result is a one-piece titanium arm with no welds and no bonded interfaces, and therefore none of the heat-affected zones or stress concentrations that limit the fatigue life of a jointed crank. It is exceptionally stiff for its weight, highly fatigue resistant, and distinctly modern in form.
The CNC-machined 6AL/4V spindle is pressed permanently into the non-drive arm through an interlocking keyed joint. The machined splines lock the two components into a single structure and transmit torque directly from spindle to arm. There is no bolted crank interface to loosen or creak over time. Once assembled, Pulse behaves as one continuous piece of titanium, which gives you direct power transfer and a drivetrain that stays quiet and precise for the life of the crank.
Titanium's fatigue resistance, ride quality, and longevity make it a natural choice for a component that sees millions of load cycles. Combined with 3D printing, those qualities go further. Pulse offers the impact resistance and lifespan of titanium alongside a stiffness-to-weight figure that rivals premium carbon, in a finish that will still look its best years from now.
Eeach crankset ships with:
Pulse uses a 30mm spindle, so any road or gravel bottom bracket that matches your frame and is sized for a 30mm spindle will work. Pulse is designed for road and gravel bottom bracket standards and is not intended for mountain-bike shells.
Pulse uses the SRAM 8-bolt direct-mount interface. Any 8-bolt direct-mount chainring or 8-bolt spider can be fitted, giving you broad choice across modern road and gravel setups.
Yes. Pulse runs a 45mm chainline in its standard road setup with a 6.5mm offset chainring. Fitting a 4mm offset ring moves the chainline to 47.5mm, matching SRAM Wide and sitting within tolerance of Shimano GRX 1x (46.9mm). One crankset covers road and gravel builds from both, with the chainring chosen to suit the drivetrain.
Yes. Pulse is power-meter compatible through any 8-bolt spider-based power meter.
Yes. Pulse is compatible with all Bossi road and gravel models, and with any frame built to industry-standard 30mm-spindle bottom bracket fitment.
The non-drive arm and spindle are a permanent, keyed assembly and are not designed to be separated. The drive-side arm bolts to the spindle, so it can be removed and refitted for installation and servicing. This layout gives Pulse its solid, unified feel while keeping fitting straightforward.
We build Pulse to be ridden hard and kept for good. Every crankset is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, which reflects our confidence in fully printed titanium construction and the durability it delivers. For full coverage details, see our Warranty page.
